We are sitting on the last month of the year and now and we cannot be more thankful for the eventful year that was. With the emerging new trends in the camera industry Lumix has made some brilliant new releases in the year 2019 and has added stellar collection of cameras for all photographers and videographers.
The 2019’s addition were Lumix G95, Lumix S1, Lumix S1R AND Lumix S1H and each of them have made remarkable entry in the market with its own unique features.
Lumix S1 and S1R are two different sensors. The top of the range Lumix S1R has a 47-megapixel sensor, while the cheaper Lumix S has a 24-megapixel sensor. The higher-resolution S1R is designed to appeal to professional stills photographers. These cameras offer 4K video capture and will offer frame rates of up to 60/50p, which Panasonic claims is a world first for full frame cameras.
G95 on the other hand comes with built-in 5-axis image stabilisation, 4K video, and a rugged design. In India, the camera is available with two kit options. The one with the 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and the other one with a 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Engineered for adventurers and Vloggers, G95 is the go to camera has an ISO range of 200-25,600, 49 autofocus points, 9fps burst shooting, and a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000. The camera also a 3-inch fully articulating touchscreen with a 1.24K dot resolution and an EVF with a resolution of 2.36 million dots.
Lumix S1H came to the market with a roar as new Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera with Cinema-Quality Video and the World's First 6K/24p (3:2)*1 Recording Capability which has also been approved by Netflix to shoot content for its original series. A companion for cinematographers, Lumix S1H provides more than 14 stops of dynamic range, comparable to those found in cinema cameras, and V-Log / V-Gamut compatible with popular colorimetry called "VariCam Look” and not leaving behind its ability to shoot unlimited.
